Between this and Chromium, there’s a lot of resources that Google’s essentially left to the wild for users and developers alike to draw from. For users unaware, Canary is an open-access beta version of Chrome, which is essentially used as ground zero for any and all tests and experiments that devs want to run before officially introducing them to Chrome proper. The first we heard of Chrome’s screenshots feature was via a few stray lines of code in a relatively old Canary build. Google is currently working on a new screenshot editor feature for the Chrome browser, allowing users to screenshot webpages and edit them to their liking.
